UCSD Culture Conference

 

Maps and Directions


The conference will be held at the International House - Great Hall on the University of California, San Diego campus in La Jolla. San Diego is served by the San Diego International Airport which is approximately a 30-minute drive from campus. Other transportation options include Greyhound bus service and Amtrak.

Local transportation from hotel to campus can be provided by taxi or San Diego's Metropolitan Transit System (MTS).


 

 

 

 

From the North via Interstate-5 Southbound

  • Take 1-5 South.
  • Exit Genesee, and turn Right (west) upon exiting.

  • Turn left onto North Torrey Pines Road.

  • Turn left at Pangea Drive. You will see a large parking structure immediately to your left.

  • Turn left at the stop sign (North Scholars Drive) and left again into the top level of the structure. You may purchase a visitor permit from the permit machine and park in a visitor or B space. The rate is $1 per hour or $7 per day. Payment options are cash or debit/credit card.

  • Once parked, walk east up the hill. The Great Hall can be seen just east of the parking structure across North Scholars Drive. It is the building with the large glass windows.

 

From the South via Interstate-5 Northbound

  • Take 1-5 North.
  • Exit La Jolla Village Drive and go west (left). Follow La Jolla Village Drive (which will become North Torrey Pines Road at the top of the hill) to Pangea Drive (4 lights past North Torrey Pines).
  • Turn right onto Pangea Drive. You will see a large parking structure immediately to your left.
  • Turn left at the stop sign (North Scholars Drive) and left again into the top level of the structure. You may purchase a visitor permit from the permit machine and park in a visitor or B space. The rate is $1 per 45 minutes or $8 per day and subject to change. Payment options are cash or debit/credit card.
  • Once parked, walk east up the hill. The Great Hall can be seen just east of the parking structure across North Scholars Drive. It is the building with the large glass windows.
