Sociology Honor Society

Alpha Kappa Delta is the International Sociology Honor Society.  AKD was founded in 1920 at the University of Southern California by Dr. Emory S. Bogardus and became affiliated with the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) in 1967. AKD is also affiliated with the American Sociological Society (ASA).

Application to the program must be submitted to the Assistant Student Affairs Officer in Spring Quarter. 

Community College Courses

Students who take community college courses, either as a transfer student or during Summer Break should be familiar with Assist.org. ASSIST is an online student-transfer information system that shows how course credits earned at one public California college or university can be applied when transferred to another.

ASSIST is the official repository of articulation for California's public colleges and universities and provides the most accurate and up-to-date information about student transfer in California.
