Accessing Reports

To access your faculty panorama report, go to select “Budget & Finance”, in the “filter by keyword box” type “faculty” and then select “Faculty and Researcher Dashboard” on that page, hit “Launch”.   You will need your SSO to log in.  The landing page defaults to expenses through the current date, but often payroll will not post until after the month’s ledger close (which is typically 7-8 days into the following month).  To drill down into spending level detail, click on the hyperlink with the Task name and on the page that opens up, you’ll need to update the date range.  Click on the calendar icon and then click on the cell with the current date, hit the back arrow button, or just type your response.  My standard recommendation is to go back to January 1, 2020 to see all activity.  Please be sure to hit “finish”.  There is a summary at the top and payroll details are at the bottom.  In the middle you can see  a line item of  supplies and other expenses.  You have the ability to drill down (on hyperlinks) to see the invoices in the “ofc cloud”.  Along tabs at the bottom you can see payroll paid and payroll projections for all of your accounts.  It will show the employee name, the month and the total (note sometimes due to payroll accruals that get reversed out later) the expense is slightly higher than it will be.  The reversals happen the following month, so if you are looking back past one month, they should be accurate.
